Volunteering*
We know it takes a village and we need you at YOU!! If you have a passion for the youth, mental health, culture, education or for teaching a class/life skill, and you're interested in volunteering, please contact us at the listed contact information at the bottom of the page.
Fundraising
YOU will be fundraising with all types of events. We have so many options and ideas that we are excited to see the community come together for. From food, bake sale, art projects, garage sales to community events and pop-ups! Be on the look out for posters and flyers for upcoming events and fundraiser information.
Community Donations
YOU has a designated area for donated items such as food, clothes, shoes and toiletries. This will be included for their entire family, and not just for the youth who attend. All donations of items are greatly appreciated, new or gently used. Or even a monetary donation can be made as well (see 'Donate' section) for any upcoming expenses for our youth and their family.
Educational Workshops & What We Do
We will be doing various activities and are not limited to: art in various forms to drawing and painting to music and dancing, reading, learn to cook, change a tire and do taxes, journaling, refurbish items, learn healthy coping mechanisms, watch/read anime, hair/nails/make up, sports, board/video games, gardening, zen/library/study, as well as, having guest speakers or "teachers" for certain special life skills or career fields.
We will offer anonymous group sessions and one on one sessions for open communication.
Outings/Trips**
YOU will be going out on outings or trips to wherever the youth decides to agree upon as much as possible to show them hard work pays off and deserves credit/rewards.
It may be a fun night at TAG's Maniac Mansion, The Deep End or Family Fun Zone, or an evening at Stone Oven Pizza with a movie, or a picnic at the park or trails? Or a scavenger hunt around town?
Who knows where your child may lead us next?!
Important Info
●*Any volunteers must provide a clean background as safety is important at YOU.
●**Prior to any special outings/trips, a permission slip will be provided.
●Each parent must check in and out their child(ren).
●Snacks and or a meal will be provided each session.*
*NOTE: ●Allergies are always a concern, please ensure to notify YOU staff if your child has any.
